Number 134. Akira
without a doubt the greatest animated film ever made. ever.
there isnt a single section that this film drops the ball in.
from the very beginning the attention to detail mixed with the sumptuous sounds effects and the beautiful and twitsing story about the link between boyhood friends and one of their hunts for complete true and pure energy mixed in with the satire on the modern worlds lust for control and fear tactics for control of society, there is alot more going on in this wonderful film that just awesome looking biker fights!
though they do look awesome too! the opening sequence is one of the most arresting and attention grabbing sequences in the history of animation.
Number 135. Megamind
disappointing. a few giggles here and there but dreamworks are falling behind as pixar`s the incredibles has already nailed the CG superhero movie!
Number 136. Slaughter High
classic slasher from the same guys who made friday 13th.
good body count and with characters being disposed of very very quickly the pace doesnt let up from start to finish.
Number 137. Flushed Away
great fun, really enjoyed this as i stumbled across it by random on the telly box!
Number 138. Death at a Funeral
a few good laughs but nothing spectacular
